Associate Consultant for Economics
Mr. Kulenovic (Joe) serves as Associate Consultant for Economics at The Washington Economics Group, Inc. (WEG). Among other consulting relationships, Joe is a Senior Private-Sector Development Consultant with the World Bank.
Joe previously served as the chief economist at Florida’s trade and economic development agency, USAID’s research director for public-private partnerships, and an infrastructure economist in the World Bank’s Europe & Central Asia region. He has worked on projects in more than 30 countries around the world, advising the governments of World Bank client countries as well as individual U.S. jurisdictions on public policy, institutional development, and private-sector engagement. He has extensive experience at building effective inter-institutional partnerships, by interfacing with senior government officials, donors, private-sector companies, universities, and non-profits.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University – The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from the University of BelgradeBack to List
