Sun-Sentinel Highlights WEG Analysis on Florida’s Economy and its Regions Based

The Washington Economics Group (WEG) quarterly report analysis entitled Florida Regions Taxable Sales Show Strengthening Economic Expansion released last week, was quoted in a Sun-Sentinel article published in August 9. The article highlights that Pam Beach and Broward Counties lead the state in retail spending.  “There’s a momentum in the economy,” said Tony Villamil, WEG Founder and Principal, adding that these counties had the faster rates of growth in taxable sales than Orlando, Miami and Tampa, which have larger populations.
