Villamil Quoted in Bloomberg News: Florida’s Global Village Testing Ground for Romney Trade Policy

The August 28th Bloomberg article focused on expanding trade in the “post-crisis economy.” Concerning Florida’s “new normal” economy post the economic crisis, Tony Villamil, WEG Founder and Principal Economic Advisor said, “things have changed,” adding that “we need to get to a more globalized, knowledge-based economy.”  Mr. Villamil worked in the Commerce Department during the George H.W. Bush Presidency and served as the Director of the Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development for the State of Florida during Governor Jeb Bush’s administration.
