Tony Villamil, Founder and Principal of The Washington Economics Group and Dean of School of Business at St. Thomas University was interviewed by the Sun-Sentinel on April 30th for a piece on the importance of good physical and financial health during retirement age. Health care expenses are important in planning for one’s retirement as medical expenses can be excessive for the elderly. For Baby Boomers especially, Tony Villamil said that they “will need to stay healthy so they can work longer and avoid retiring to allow their nest egg to grow,” adding that one’s “health is critical to postponing your retirement.”
