Antonio Villamil, Founder and Principal Advisor of The Washington Economics Group, Inc. (WEG), Florida ‘s 2017 job growth bodes well for 2018. He said that the Orlando area had the strongest employment growth at 3.8 percent, followed by South Florida, with 3 percent growth during the year — both above national average. He said 2017 “clearly demonstrates that the State’s economic structure has become more diversified…This is positive for continued solid performance in 2018 and beyond.” Read more.
