WEG Founder and Principal Advisor, Tony Villamil was interviewed by Kimberly Miller from the Palm Beach Post on the jobs report released by the Labor Department on October 5th. The US economy added 114,000 jobs in September, which dropped the unemployment rate to 7.8%. Ms. Miller asked Tony his thoughts on the results of the report and Tony said, “At this stage in the recovery phase, we should be increasing 200,000 to 250,000 jobs per month.” Villamil went on to add that “this is the only way you’re going to seriously decrease the jobs lost during the great recession.”
