WEG Study on the Impacts of the Florida Venture Forum Highlighted in Tampa Bay Business Journal

The Tampa Bay Business Journal published on August 24,  the findings of an economic impact study conducted by The Washington Economics Group, Inc. (WEG) on the programs and services offered by the Florida Venture Forum. According to the Study, Florida Venture Forum had an $8.77 billion economic impact statewide between 2000 and 2016. In addition, the Forum operations, spending by out-of-state visitors attending Forum events, and the impact of equity capital raised by presenting companies were respsonsible for 44,233 jobs, $2.62 billion in Household Income and $4.4 billion inf GDP durint the 16-year period.
