WEG Study on the Impacts of the Jewish Community Services Highlighted in the Miami Herald

The Miami Herald published the findings of an economic impact study prepared by The Washington Economics Group, Inc. (WEG) on the programs and services offered by Jewish Community Services (JCS). On June 4th, 2015, Tony Villamil, WEG Principal and Founder, presented these findings at the JCS Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Most importantly, the study found that through highly efficient operations and a low operating budget generated through partnerships with funding agencies, community groups and local leaders, JCS is improving the quality of lives and generating significant social and economic impacts through successful program outcomes. JCS supports close to 7,000 jobs, an estimated $241 million in household income and a significant $509 million in total economic impact.
