WEG’s First-Quarter Analysis of Taxable Sales Highlighted in the Miami Herald and Florida Trend Magazine

On Tuesday, June 17 The Washington Economics Group, Inc. released its Quarterly Report entitled, An Analysis of Taxable Sales Trends Show an Accelerating Economic Recovery. The Miami Herald article highlights the positive growth in the Florida economy by referencing the 5.8 percent growth in consumer spending, 6.4 percent increase in tourism and recreation spending, 7.4 percent growth in investment spending, and the healthy increase in total retail sales that increased by 5.3 percent from last year.
