Student Body President of University of Florida, and WEG officer,TJ Villamil, Addresses Executives and Students in Support of Governor Scott’s new Higher Education Initiatives
On February 11, Governor Scott visited the University of Florida (UF) to outline his budget, which recommends a $1.1 billing investment for state colleges and $3.8 billion for Florida’s universities. In his appearance at UF, Governor Scott said that “targeted investments in higher education will help ensure Florida has a university that ranks on the top 10 in the United States.”
