The Beacon Council Economic Roundtable Chair J. Antonio “Tony” Villamil engaged an audience of more than 100 business leaders at the Doral Business Council’s premier membership breakfast event, which was hosted at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa. Villamil discussed the importance of establishing international business opportunities in the global marketplace in order to position companies for long term growth. Villamil stated that the global economy offers growing business opportunities for South Florida companies and that a global market “footprint” is critical to revenue diversification and growth. Villamil also discussed how the One Community One Goal strategic plan is essential for economic sustainability in Miami-Dade County and how this plan is assisting with diverse business opportunities locally and internationally.
