Marielena Villamil, WEG co-founder and CEO, was recently appointed to the South Florida Advisory Board of BBVA Compass. Mrs. Villamil brings her business, higher education and civic experience to the Advisory Board as she also serves on the boards of Miami-Dade College, the Coral Gables Community Foundation, the Cuban American National Council, the American Red Cross of Greater Miami and the Keys, of which she is a former Chairman and the South Florida Board of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
