Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe visited South Florida last week to participate in the St. Thomas University School of Business’ Global Entrepreneurship Week. WEG Founder and Principal Advisor is also the Dean of the School of Business at the University. Prime Minister Lamothe is a distinguished alumnus of the University and an entrepreneur and as such, he delivered the keynote speech for the Global Entrepreneurship Week event, which was highlighted in a November 20th South Florida Business Journal article. In the Prime Minister’s speech, he “delivered a strong message during his visit to South Florida: Haiti is open for business and taking steps to minimize red tape for foreign investors.”
